Visa Procedures

The visa application process may be initiated after receiving the Letter of Acceptance from the host university. Up-to-date information regarding visa procedures can be obtained from the “Visa Practices for Turkish Citizens” section published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye and from the official websites of the consulate/embassy of the destination country.

Visa Letter (Grant Confirmation Letter)

The Visa Letter (Grant Confirmation Letter) required for visa applications can be obtained through the TURNAPortal website by using the “Document Application” section.

The visa application, monitoring of the application process, and preparation of the required documents are entirely the responsibility of the student. Students are responsible for following the current documents and application requirements requested by the consulate or embassy of the destination country and for completing their applications in full.

Before submitting a visa application, students must conduct the necessary research and personally check and verify the current application requirements, required documents, appointment procedures, and other relevant matters through the embassy/consulate of the destination country and other authorised official sources.

The submission of the visa application and the monitoring of the application process are entirely the student's responsibility.
