Within the scope of the Erasmus+ project Osmangazi Internship Consortium, in which our university is a partner, Erasmus Offices of the consortium member universities and the representatives of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry visited the Netherlands and Germany. During the contacts in the Netherlands and Germany, our university was represented by Erasmus Institution Coordinator Dr. Fehim Kuruloğlu, International Relations Coordinator Prof. Dr. Kubilay Özyer.
Within the scope of the visits organized to provide new internship opportunities for our students, the project was introduced to employers in various branches in Amsterdam, Utrecht, Rotterdam, Cologne, Darmstadt, Hessen and Maintal, and the importance of internship mobility was explained. The meetings, in which business people showed great interest, ended with outputs such as reducing the difficulties our students experience in finding internship places in Germany and the Netherlands, creating a pool list of internship places, and bringing together the students who are eligible for internships with employers. As a result of these visits and the agreements, it is expected that the problem of our students, finding an internship in these two countries will be solved in the new education period. We would like to thank HOKAF in the Netherlands and MUSIAD NRW in Germany, who contributed to the organization of these visits.
In order for our cooperation to develop and grow in the coming years, the next evaluation meeting of the project partners will be held in Konya in October, hosted by Konya Necmettin Erbakan University.
